Which treatment is best for me?

This depends on the person and what they are hoping to achieve from their treatment. Some of my clients find that they benefit from having a combination of the therapies I offer, whereas others prefer to stick to one therapy that they particularly resonate with.
That said my clinical experience has shown that certain therapies work better for certain conditions.

To help you decide which therapy would best meet your needs, I offer a 10 minute no obligation phone consultation completely free of charge. Between us we are able to construct a unique treatment programme for you and you are able to ask me any questions that you may have.

How many sessions will I need?

Again there isn’t a set answer to this question as everyone’s needs are different and no two people respond in the same way.
However, for Reflexology and Reiki results can usually be seen after 4-6 weekly treatments. After this, I would be looking to reduce to fortnightly sessions and then to monthly maintenance treatments if desired.
With Homeopathy and Flower Essences I would need to see you on a monthly basis so that the remedies/ essences have a chance to work. After a few sessions I would be better able to discuss how many sessions you might need.

Will I be expected to stop taking my current medication?

Definitely not! Homeopathic remedies and Flower Essences are completely natural and won’t interfere with any conventional medicines you have been prescribed. If you want to reduce or come off any medication then it is important that you consult your GP so that the dose can be adjusted accordingly.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

I am not able to offer weekend appointments. However, I am happy to offer evening appointments Monday to Thursday.

What happens if I need to re-arrange my appointment?

It is not a problem if you need to rearrange your appointment. Things happen in life that can’t be helped, making it sometimes necessary for you to change your appointment time. However, I do ask to be given 24 hours notice so that I may book someone else in. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may incur a charge.

What should I wear for my Reflexology/ Reiki treatment?

You don’t need to wear any special clothing for either treatment.
With Reflexology, you will only need to have bare feet.
For Reiki it is often preferable to wear loose clothing, but not essential. You will be fully clothed throughout the treatment.

Do I have to be ill to benefit from any of the therapies offered?

On the contrary! Prevention is much better than the cure. Most people do come to me wanting help with specific health problems, however once their health has improved they want to maintain it and so often opt for less frequent ‘maintenance sessions’. All the therapies offered aim to keep the body in a state of balance and harmony so that optimum health is maintained. With the pace of life as fast as it is, it doesn’t take much to knock people off balance, so with the help of Homeopathy and Complementary Therapies, people feel more able to deal with the stresses and strains of life.

Can I claim for my treatments through my Hospital Fund scheme?

That depends on the individual scheme and the level of cover you have with them, therefore it is best to check with your particular company. For Homeopathy I am registered with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths, and for Reflexology I am registered with the International Federation of Reflexologists.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I currently accept payment in the form of cash or cheque. Cheques are made payable to Rebecca Hill.
